Do you want to know more about the murder in Merstham? Redhill Library are hosting a talk by a local historian to discuss. Details below

This month's coffee morning talk will revolve around a murder most horrid...! On Thursday 4 June, Nicky Brownjohn, local history volunteer and researcher, will talk about the unsolved murder of 22-year-old dairy employee Mary Sophia Money, whose mutilated body was found in Merstham tunnel in September 1905.

As usual, the talk starts at 10.30am. We don't take bookings and seats are allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis, so we recommend that you turn up in good time to secure your space.

Merstham Library welcomed the East Surrey Textile Group,
to run a three week course on Kawandi, a traditional Indian quilting style. We already had bags of fabric, kindly donated by Surrey Wardrobe and we found a talented volunteer to support our adult craft activities.
