🎉💜 RISE UP CARE TURNS 5! 💜🎉

This week marks a huge milestone as Rise Up Care celebrates its 5th birthday!

In September 2021, Jessie founded Rise Up Care with a vision to create something different for young adults with learning disabilities — a person-centred service where people are supported to grow, connect and thrive.

From building independence and confidence to work experience, residential trips, new friendships and plenty of adventures, we’re incredibly proud of everything our young adults achieve.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Rise Up Care over the last five years and a massive congratulations to our founder Jessie for creating such a special place where people truly thrive. 💜

Here’s to five amazing years and the next chapter of Rise Up Care!

💙 Learning Disability Week 2026 💙

This week, we’re proud to be celebrating Learning Disability Week at Rise Up Care!

We’ve had a fantastic activity-filled week so far, with everyone taking part in a variety of fun, engaging, and confidence-building activities. Yesterday, we held the Great Rise Up Bake-Off, and what a success it was! 🍰🎉

Everyone worked brilliantly as part of their teams, showing fantastic teamwork, creativity, communication, and independence. The standard of baking was incredibly high, and the judges had a very difficult job choosing the winners!

We’re incredibly proud of everyone who took part and the enthusiasm, effort, and skills they demonstrated throughout the challenge.

Here’s to continuing a week of celebrating abilities, achievements, inclusion, and the amazing individuals we support every day. 💙

🌟 It's been another great week at Rise Up Care! 🌟

This week, we paid a visit to Trick or Treat Brixham painting ceramic models and getting creative. 🎨 It was a great session, with some fantastic creations made!

We're looking forward to next week as we celebrate Learning Disability Week, recognising the achievements and individuality of the amazing people we support every day. 💙

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week 💚

At Rise Up Care, we know mental health is just as important as physical health. We support our young adults in many ways, including building confidence, encouraging independence, creating positive experiences, and being there to support their emotional wellbeing too. 💚

Kicking off the week we have a group that got stuck into a cooking session and what a success it was! 🍽️ They worked together to make a delicious chicken korma from scratch, showing great teamwork and independence throughout.

The end result looked (and smelled!) amazing — a fantastic effort all round and a great way to start the week 🌟

From enjoying days out in the sunshine, to relaxing yoga sessions, cooking, and building important life skills — it’s been a week full of positivity, learning and laughter. 💙

What a lovely day yesterday! ☀️🌊

We took full advantage of the lovely weather and enjoyed a ferry trip across the bay from Torquay to Brixham, taking in the views and exploring the town. Everyone had a fantastic time and it was great to see so many smiles throughout the day! 💙

It’s been a great start to the week here at Rise Up Care! ☀️

With British Summer Time beginning and the warmer weather arriving, we’ve been making the most of the sunshine!

We’ve been out and about enjoying lots of outdoor activities, as well as keeping fit in the gym! It’s been great to see everyone in such positive moods and full of energy 😊
