The Friends of Puddletown Library (FoPL) is a registered charity that works hard at fund-raising to keep the library open, to provide a service which reflects the needs of the local community, to promote literacy generally and to be a welcoming place in the Community. Puddletown Community Library was opened at 3pm on Monday 7th January 2013, by internationally acclaimed BBC journalist Kate Adie. We have everything you would expect to find in a local library: information, recreation, education and culture. Visiting the Library is free and open to everyone who lives, works or studies in Dorset. See how you can help us to keep this much needed service open and running, for the sake of our community.
