🚨 Another senior Reform representative is under police investigation. Reform’s mayor of Hull and East Yorkshire, Luke Campbell, is being investigated by police over allegations of cyberflashing. 🤔
According to The Observer, the Olympic gold medallist is accused of showing a senior female member of staff four naked and sexualised images of himself on his computer, allegedly laughing alongside male colleagues at her reaction.
The woman says she was left shocked, embarrassed and humiliated. Around three weeks later, she was told that an offer of permanent employment had been withdrawn. Her employment tribunal complaint alleges that this was because she rejected unwanted sexual conduct.
A witness has also described seeing the alleged incident. The authority has confirmed that a police investigation is under way.
Campbell, who was elected mayor in May 2025, is understood to have been interviewed under caution earlier this month. No charges or arrests have been made.
These are serious allegations, and they must be properly investigated.
An investigation is not a finding of guilt. But this isn’t the first time concerns have been raised about the working environment under Campbell.
Back in August 2025, reports emerged of a “toxic working environment” at the newly created Hull and East Yorkshire Combined Authority, with staff said to be in revolt and Campbell asking five senior staff to resign following a series of conflicts.
Now, fresh allegations have emerged involving a female member of staff.
And remember, this is the man Nigel Farage personally backed during the mayoral campaign, posing alongside him in boxing gloves. 🥊
If these allegations are substantiated, the questions go far beyond what happened in that office.
They go to the heart of Reform’s standards.
