🏓 BIG NEWS FOR PICKLEBALL AT BATCHWOOD

This August, the existing 8 pickleball courts at Batchwood Sports Centre will be resurfaced and relined as dedicated pickleball courts.

This is a major investment in pickleball and another exciting step forward for the sport in St Albans.

Better courts.
Better playing experience.
A brighter future for pickleball at Batchwood.

And there could be even more good news to come...

Pickleball with purpose.

SHARP is now in its second year of running a weekly session for people living with Parkinson’s.
The club will also host the first Parkinson’s Pickleball Festival at Batchwood on Monday 22 June from 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm.

This is a strong example of sport, community, and inclusion working together.

The team are currently top of Division 1, and support from club members would make a real difference.

National Finals secured.

Huge congratulations to SHARP Shooters for finishing 2nd in Division 1 of the SEnPL league and booking their place in the National Finals on 4 July in Stourbridge.

A fantastic result in their first season in the Super league. A brilliant achievement for the whole squad and a huge credit to Captain Tim for leading the team so well.

We now have 248 members, and we have opened the next quota on the waiting list.
That growth shows how strong the club has become across social play, coached sessions, match play, and team competition.

Thank you to everyone who keeps SHARP moving forward. The club now runs 12 sessions, with 10 weekly and 2 monthly, and there is more to come.
