Our knitters from our Monday knitting group will be busy making booties and clothes for premature babies! What a wonderful idea, looking forward to seeing the finished pieces! Some patterns they'll be using, any donations of spare wool would be appreciated!

Another great event at the Waterloo Centre! We were visited by the fantastic Ukelele band, Up the Creek and what a fun evening! A variety of songs from George Formby, Phil Lynott to Ringo Starr and everything in between. Even songs like, Everyone wants to be a cat from the film aristocrats, where the singers wore hats that looked like cats. A great time had by all!

One of our regular customers of our Friday hub, holding a hedgehog made by our Monday knitting club, these tiny hedgehogs are made into key rings and donated to Dotties hedgehog rescue centre.

How lovely are these! Our crochet club on a friday have been busy making these hearts for our friends at John Kemp funeral directors, these beautiful tiny hearts will be boxed into pairs, one to be put into the coffin of a dearly departed and the other to be kept as a special keepsake for the bereaved. Well done all involved!

Our knitting club on Mondays have created some more wonderful creations x first pic is of a blanket for a disabled lady who lives near the centre, second pic is of a knee blanket for Dotties hedgehog rescue to raffle, (we had a money pot at the Waterloo Centre for any kind donations, 3rd pic bee and flower keyring! Aren't they clever bees! We would welcome any donations of wool you have and dont need.
