Young people today are growing up surrounded by technology and are often eager to learn how it works. While this curiosity can be a positive thing, it can sometimes lead to risky online behaviour. Activities that may seem harmless, such as experimenting with games or systems, can develop into illegal cyber activity without young people fully understanding the consequences.
To support parents and carers, a free awareness session has been developed to:
✅ provide a better understanding of the work of the Cyber Prevent team and how they align with education partners to provide support and training around all things ‘technical’.
✅ demystify cyber terminology and help you to identify the red flags associated with illegal / unethical use of technology.
This will be held online on 28th July 2026 from 12pm - 1pm or 4pm - 5pm.
