Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, joins his Jamaican counterpart, Senator the Hon. Kamina Johnson Smith, in Kingston, Jamaica, ahead of the historic state visit of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama, at the invitation of Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness.

During a brief engagement, both Foreign Ministers expressed optimism about the prospects for deepening cooperation between Ghana and Jamaica. They reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations in trade, culture, maritime affairs, education, health, and other areas of mutual interest.
