The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs joined the nationwide 2026 Civil Service Week Clean-Up Exercise, reaffirming its commitment to promoting environmental sanitation, public health, and responsible public service.

As the Ministry at the forefront of strengthening local governance and advancing sustainable community development, the exercise reflected the shared responsibility of public institutions to champion cleanliness, inspire behavioural change, and foster healthier communities. Management and staff worked together to clean the Ministerial Enclave, demonstrating that effective public service extends beyond policy formulation to practical actions that positively impact our environment.

The Clean-Up Exercise forms part of activities marking the 2026 Civil Service Week Celebration and the 2025 Civil Service Awards Ceremony, highlighting the Civil Service’s dedication to professionalism, integrity, teamwork, and service to the nation.
