Osun Governorship Election: The governorship candidate of the Osun State APC, Asiwaju Bola Munirudeen Oyebamiji (AMBO), allegedly escaped an assassination attempt after unknown gunmen reportedly fired several shots at the Tinubu/AMBO campaign convoy while it was returning from the APC Ife Federal Constituency canvassers’ inauguration on August 12, 2026.
The incident has sparked reactions online, with some people questioning whether the att@ck actually happened.

“APC has staged another movie. Which gunman will sh00t multiple times at a car in the safest, most uselêśs part of the vehicle and not hit the driver or the passengers?”

I am not sure of #14 and 15. Tinubu attempted to start The Nation Air. I have never heard of it again. During the 2023 Campaigns, Tinubu hired planes not his own. As for OBJ, he has no temperament to deal with the pilots and their hefty pays, so Baba will not attempt to buy a private jet.

Two-time Grammy winner Tyla has canceled her scheduled concert in Lagos, Nigeria.

The South African star was expected to perform on December 22 as part of her A*POP World Tour, but Lagos has now been removed from the official tour schedule on the event website.

The development comes after weeks of backlash from some Nigerians, with social commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM) publicly calling on the event organizers to cancel the show. Despite the growing controversy and the concert's apparent cancellation, Tyla has not made any public statement addressing the situation.

As of now, fans are still waiting for an official explanation from Tyla or her team regarding the removal of the Lagos concert from the tour.
