Abbeyleix House and Farm

Historical residence dating back to the 1700s; today, it is a private estate and functioning farm.

Some spooky characters have been spotted wandering around the estate, bringing a little Halloween magic and mischief to our autumn landscape! 🍂🕸️

It’s become a bit of a tradition here, and we couldn’t resist sharing a few frightfully fun moments!

🍂 Autumn is in the little details… 🍁

As the seasons change at Abbeyleix House and Farm, autumn quietly reveals itself across the landscape. From delicate droplets of morning dew and golden leaves to nature's intricate textures and colours as it prepares for winter, beauty lies in the smallest details. 🍄

Through the lens of local macro photographer , we’re invited to slow down, look a little closer, and discover the season's hidden magic.

📸 We're delighted that Melissa will be exhibiting and selling her beautiful photography at our upcoming art exhibition in the historic De Vesci Church on the estate, during our Christmas Market on Sunday, 6th December.

✨ Sometimes the smallest things tell the most beautiful stories.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Tús Nua Abbeyleix to Abbeyleix House and Farm for a very special visit.

The group enjoyed walking our alpacas, meeting the horses, rabbits and guinea pigs, and even spending some time cuddling our tiny kittens.

A lovely day filled with animals, fresh air and plenty of smiles!
