Last Thursday at Connect Café, we got everyone in the mood for the weekend with a fun festival-themed morning full of laughter, music, and great company! 🎉

The morning included our festival photo frame and a lively game of Bingo — and it’s safe to say things became very competitive very quickly! 😂 A special mention has to go to Flo, who was an absolutely fantastic Bingo caller on her very first try. We think she may have discovered a hidden talent!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the morning so memorable. Congratulations as well to all of our lucky winners on the day — from First Line and Two Lines right up to the Full House! 👏

We’re already looking forward to our next Connect Café, so why not save the date now — Thursday 25th June. You never know what surprises or fun activities we might have planned next time!

We hope to see you there !

Infant Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 — Attunement
This year’s Infant Mental Health Awareness Week (8th–14th June 2026) highlights the theme of Attunement. Throughout the week, we will focus on how strong, attuned early relationships play a vital role in supporting babies’ development.
Attunement refers to the ability to connect with and respond to others on an emotional level. While it is important for everyone, it is especially crucial for babies and their parents or caregivers, as it helps build secure, nurturing relationships from the very beginning.
Emotional attunement is about recognising, understanding, and responding to another person’s feelings in a caring and appropriate way. When adults are attuned to babies and young children, they pick up on their cues, acknowledge their emotions, and respond in a way that supports and reassures them.

Join us on Friday 19th June in King House to watch the critically acclaimed film, Io Capitano is a modern day odyssey that traces the perilous journey of two teenage cousins, Seydou and Moussa, as they leave Dakar, Senegal, in pursuit of a brighter future in Europe.

It takes courage to leave home and seek safety, and it also takes compassion and openness to welcome others. When people come together with kindness and solidarity, barriers can be broken down and friendships can grow.

This event is free but booking is essential. Please call 071 966 3000 to book your seat.

Last week, we had a fantastic training day focused on educating, understanding, and empowering ourselves — helping us to build a more supportive community for neurodivergent young people. A special thank you to Faye Hayden for delivering such an insightful session on neurodiversity, and to everyone who joined us and contributed to the day.
