Enterprise Ireland Sustainability Solutions team are hosting the following webinars on industrial electrification, the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation and Sustainable Water Innovation.

 Industrial Electrification: The Path to Higher Efficiency, Lower Energy Costs and Reduced Emissions, 4th November 1-2pm Register now.
Industrial electrification is becoming an increasingly important pathway for Irish manufacturers seeking to improve competitiveness, strengthen energy resilience and reduce carbon emissions. Advances in technologies such as industrial heat pumps, electric boilers and flexible energy systems are creating new opportunities to improve energy efficiency while reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
Join Dominic Schone and Keith Whiriskey of Enterprise Ireland for a practical discussion on how manufacturers can identify, evaluate, and implement electrification projects.
 Navigating the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), 11th November 1-2pm Register now.
The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) replaces the Packaging and Packaging Waste Directive (PPWD), introducing harmonised packaging rules across the EU.
PPWR will have implications for many businesses, and our guest speaker, REPAK, will provide an overview of PPWR including who is classified as a ‘Producer’, what is identified as packaging and how this is reported. The regulation covers all businesses placing packaging or packaged products on the EU market, including manufacturers, importers, distributors, retailers and e-commerce operators. It applies to all packaging formats, whether household, commercial or industrial.
 Sustainable Water Innovation: Best Practices & Industry Case Studies, 18th November 1-2pm Register now.
Industrial water users in Ireland face a complex mix of pressures: rising water, trade effluent and energy costs, decarbonisation targets, climate change driven water shortages, increased production demands, and heightened scrutiny around safety and resilience.
