The Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner (Central), Dehradun, conducted a camp sitting at NTPC Dadri for the final hearing of an appeal under the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act.

During the camp sitting, a complaint regarding the delayed payment of retirement dues was also successfully resolved, facilitating the disbursal of approximately ₹2.5 crore to seven employees. The proceedings highlighted the Ministry’s commitment to timely grievance redressal and protection of workers’ statutory entitlements.

The Regional Labour Commissioner (Central), New Delhi, delivered a Distinguished Lecture on the Labour Codes at the Saket Bar Association, Delhi, attended by around 85 advocates.

The session focused on the practical implementation of the four Labour Codes, the role of advocates in labour and employment matters and key digital initiatives including Samadhan 2.0 and the Shram Suvidha Portal (SSP) 2.0. An interactive discussion enabled participants to deliberate on practical aspects of labour law implementation and technology-driven governance.
