✍️ Highlights from Day 02 🗓️ of the Capacity Building Programme for a Parliamentary Delegation from Myanmar, comprising Members of Parliament and officials, led by Dr. Pwint San, Chairman, International Relations Committee, and organised by PRIDE, Lok Sabha Secretariat (02-07 September 2026).

Ms. Rachna Saxena, Director, PRIDE, briefed the delegation on the agenda for the day.

During the course of the day, the delegation was addressed by eminent speakers, including:

Stepping up Parliamentary ties 🇮🇳 🤝 🇲🇲

A week-long Capacity Building Programme for a delegation from the Parliament of Myanmar, including Members of Parliament and Officials led by Dr. Pwint San, Chairman International Relations Committee commenced today at PRIDE, Lok Sabha Secretariat. Shri Raj Kumar, Director, PRIDE briefed the delegation.

Smt. Aparajita Sarangi, Hon’ble Chairperson, Joint Parliamentary Committee on the Constitution (113th Amendment) Bill, 2025 graced the inaugural function of the programme.

As part of the programme, the delegation visited the iconic Parliament House 🇮🇳, Samvidhan Sadan and the repository of knowledge housed in the Parliament Library.
