Water Conservation Needs Action, Not Just Discussion
Everyone is talking about “Water Crisis” and “Save Water,” but very few people are working on practical and long-term solutions.
We have developed an innovative water conservation solution for men’s urinals that can significantly reduce water consumption in public and commercial buildings. This solution not only saves water, but also:
-Reduces electricity consumption for pumping
-Lowers the load on STP plants and sewerage lines
-Reduces maintenance and operational costs
-Supports sustainable infrastructure development
-Helps conserve thousands of liters of water every day
Still, it is disappointing that neither government departments nor many private organizations are seriously adopting such solutions.
Why are water-saving technologies not being implemented widely in:
>Government schools
>Government offices
>Public buildings
>Bus stands, railway stations, malls, and institutions?
If we already know that water scarcity is a major issue, then why are practical conservation systems being ignored?
A small change in sanitation infrastructure can save a huge amount of water for the future. The need of the hour is not only awareness campaigns, but actual implementation of innovative and sustainable technologies.
Water conservation should become a compulsory part of every public infrastructure project.
