As part of the 99-day Government programme “Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika,” EAGLE Force Telangana participated in an Anti-Drug Awareness event conducted at the NCC Camp of the 1st Battalion held at Siddhartha Engineering College, Narapally, and organised an impactful awareness programme on drug abuse. The programme was attended by the 1st Battalion NCC, with a total participation of around 600 NCC cadets and officers. The programme was addressed by Shri Sandeep Shandilya, IPS, Director, EAGLE Force Telangana. Addl. SP Sri Krishna Murthy, DSP Sri Saidulu, Inspector Srinivas, 30 internship students, and team members of EAGLE Force TG also participated in the programme. Director Sir delivered an excellent PPT presentation on the harmful effects of drug abuse, and informative awareness videos were screened for the cadets and officers. As part of the programme, sports kits were also distributed to the NCC cadets to encourage youth towards sports, discipline, fitness, and positive activities as healthy alternatives to drugs and other harmful habits. The main objective of the programme was to motivate and prepare NCC cadets to become Anti-Drug Soldiers, create awareness among the youth, and protect society from the menace of drugs. The session received an excellent response from all participants and created strong awareness among the cadets.
