“TWO WORKSHOPS ON PAINTING🖌️ AND APPLICATION OF MIXED MEDIA ON CANVAS”
Inspired and guided by the Italian artists Maurizio Boscheri and Daniel Calovi, the participants from different art schools of Kolkata: Government College of Art & Craft, NSHM knowledge Campus and Art Lovers enjoyed the workshops at Kolkata Center for Creativity. 🗞️My Kolkata (The Telegraph) has captured the visit of the Consul General of Italy to Kala Bhawan, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan on the occasion of the exhibition of the art works prepared by the students, inspired by the Divine Comedy of the great Dante Alighieri.👇
The Consul General of Italy with Prof. Sanchayan Ghosh, and the students of Fine Arts 🎨 of Visva-Bharati University, in Shantiniketan.
At Nandan Gallery, Kala Bhavana, you can admire the pieces of art, in different media (sculptures, installations, paintings) by the students who agreed to be inspired by the complexities of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. This is how a masterpiece of universal literature can still speak to us after 700 years!
That OVERWHELMING moment when 😍 personally thanks the Consul General directly from Venice Film Festival!!
This made our day!🇮🇹🇮🇳

Third edition of the High Tea with the students, at Fire And Ice Pizzeria. The CG of Italy meets with a group of students who are ready to leave Kolkata to pursue their higher studies in Italy. Different cities, different courses, but the same enthusiasm for a new chapter of their life which opens up. Great interaction with three young Kolkatans, Sonia, Vedika and Rashni, who studied in Italy and now are back to Kolkata with their baggage of knowledge and experience in and for the city and its people.
