Governor of Andhra Pradesh Sri S Abdul Nazeer has congratulated the ISRO scientists for achieving a significant milestone with the successful launch and placing in geosynchronous orbit, its heaviest Earth observation satellite, EOS-05, via the GSLV-F17 rocket from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota on Friday. The Governor said the mission marks India's acquisition of its first dedicated imaging satellite, crucial for continuous surveillance and national security and it adds another feather in the ISRO's cap.

Governor of Andhra Pradesh Sri S Abdul Nazeer has expressed profound grief and anguish on the road accident occurred near Chilakaluripet of Palnadu district in the early hours of Thursday, in which seven people are reported to have lost their lives and several others were injured when the auto they were traveling in was hit by a bus going to Tirupati from Vijayawada. Governor Sri Abdul Nazeer directed the officials to provide better medical care to the injured persons. The Governor has offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
