A Toilet or the Street?

A clean and safe environment starts with a simple choice — using a toilet every time.

Open defecation makes roads and public places dirty, creates an unpleasant environment, and can spread germs that may affect public health. It also attracts flies and other insects, making our surroundings unsafe and unhygienic.

Let’s understand that streets, open spaces and public places are not toilets. Use the toilet and encourage your family, friends and community to do the same.

Used Oil Cans Reused as Dustbins to Prevent Littering

Small waste items from shops can often end up on roads and public spaces, creating litter and an untidy environment. To help prevent this, the AIILSG, Vijayawada Team reused discarded oil cans by converting them into useful dustbins and distributed them to shops in Vijayawada. These dustbins provide a convenient place for shopkeepers and customers to dispose of small waste items properly, while giving discarded oil cans a useful second life.

పాల ప్యాకెట్: వ్యర్థమా? వనరా?

ప్రతిరోజూ వాడిన పాల ప్యాకెట్లను ఇతర చెత్తతో కలిపి పడేస్తున్నాం. కానీ సరైన విధంగా నిర్వహిస్తే వాటిని సేకరించి, వేరు చేసి, రీసైకిల్ చేయవచ్చు.

వాడిన తర్వాత:
ఖాళీ చేయండి → కడగండి → ఆరబెట్టండి → రీసైకిల్ చేయండి

మురికి పాల ప్యాకెట్లు పాల అవశేషాల వల్ల దుర్వాసన రావచ్చు. అలాగే ఇతర రీసైకిల్ చేయగల వ్యర్థాలను కూడా కలుషితం చేస్తాయి.

శుభ్రంగా, పొడిగా ఉన్న పాల ప్యాకెట్లు సేకరించడానికి, వేరు చేయడానికి మరియు రీసైకిల్ చేయడానికి సులభంగా ఉంటాయి.

చిన్న జాగ్రత్త.. రీసైకిల్ చేయగల వ్యర్థాలను వృథా కాకుండా కాపాడుతుంది. వ్యర్థాలను సరిగ్గా నిర్వహిద్దాం.. మన పరిసరాలను పరిశుభ్రంగా ఉంచుదాం.

A plastic bottle may serve us for only a few minutes, but once thrown away, it can remain in the environment for hundreds of years. Improperly discarded plastic can pollute our surroundings, clog drains and harm animals and ecosystems.

Let us make responsible choices—reduce single-use plastic, carry reusable bottles, and dispose of plastic waste through proper collection and recycling channels.
