n. It is said that the restoring powers of Kinosaki Onsen were first discovered 1400 years ago, when an injured stork was seen bathing its wounds in the waters. Since then, the town has become a popular destination for those seeking to relax、both national and international tourists. You can experience wearing a yukata (traditional summer kimono) and strolling around the town, before taking a dip in any of the towns seven famous hotsprings.

What better way to enjoy the summer than with 500,000 sunflowers! At the annual Tanto Sunflower festival, you can frolic through the flowers to your heart’s content and sample some delicious silky corn (you can take some home too)! Take a break in the nearby forest just on the edge of the fields and listen to Izushi-yaki wind chimes.

Surrounded by forests and mountains, the Tanto Sunflower Festival makes the perfect backdrop for your summer pictures. We hope to see you there!
