Sup Tulang – A Cherished Hajj Qurban Tradition
Alhamdulillah, following the completion of the Hajj Qurban and the distribution of meat, the cherished tradition of Sup Tulang was carried out.
Members of the community came together to prepare this traditional dish, fostering the spirit of unity, friendship, and gratitude that accompanies the blessed days of Eid-ul-Adha. The warm and hearty bowl of Sup Tulang was enjoyed by all in an atmosphere of fellowship and togetherness.
We were delighted to have Mr. Khairul Iskandar, his family, and other officials of the Malaysian High Commission join us in enjoying Sup Tulang, adding to the warmth and spirit of the evening.
A special thank you to Shanaz Bohoran and Hashmareen Bangsajayah for coordinating the arrangements and ensuring that everything came together seamlessly.
Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to Shahana Dole, Shafeena Fadjudeen, Mersumi Majid, Jean Aher, Seenar, Mutiara, Fazlin Hamidon, Nazreena, Zahara, and her assistant for their dedication in preparing and cooking the Sup Tulang. Your hard work, teamwork, and enthusiasm made the evening a wonderful success.
We were also privileged to have Ruzaina Hadji with us, and look forward to seeing how she captures and shares the essence of this beautiful tradition with the world in her own subtle and unique way.
Beyond the act of sacrifice, occasions such as these strengthen community bonds, preserve our cultural heritage, and remind us of the blessings of gathering together in service, gratitude, and friendship.
Alhamdulillah for a memorable evening of tradition, fellowship, and community spirit. May Almighty Allah accept our sacrifices, our efforts, and our intentions, and reward all those who contributed towards making Hajj Qurban 2026 a success. Ameen. 🤲🌙
