Did Gregory Coleman Mean what he said?

‎On July 30, 2026 during Minsitry of Information's Regular Press Briefing, Police Inspector General Gregory Coleman revealed that ongoing investigations have established that officials within this Government are being identified with close ties to the Cartels which are reportedly using Liberia as a transit point.

‎ According to Coleman, State Actors at senior level within this Government are being identified as suspects in the ongoing investigations, as those officials whose names remain withheld have been reportedly aiding in the smooth entry of illicit drugs in Liberia.

‎But, Information Minister Jerolinmake Piah following Gregory Coleman's statement clarified that Coleman actually meant former officials are being linked to the Cartels not current officials.

‎ When asked by Journalists, Gregory Coleman then said he actually meant what Minister Piah provided as clarification that former officials instead of current officials are being linked to the Cartels.

Gloria Musu Scott was acquitted on appeal in the case surrounding the death of her niece, Charloe Musu. Since then, some members of the public have continued to ask why there has not been more visible public advocacy or updates regarding efforts to identify and prosecute whoever was responsible for Charloe’s killing. Given the seriousness of the crime, many believe the case deserves continued attention until those responsible are brought to justice.

At the same time, it is important to recognize that criminal investigations are primarily the responsibility of law enforcement and prosecutors, not private individuals. Without public information about the status of the investigation, it is not possible to conclude whether efforts are or are not being made behind the scenes. The key question remains: What progress, if any, have the relevant authorities made in identifying and prosecuting the person or persons responsible for Charloe Musu’s death?

Liberian activist Martin K. N. Kollie has accused Acting LDEA head Fitzgerald T. M. Biago of accepting a vehicle allegedly linked to suspected drug trafficker George Wha Harris, also known as "Leroy Harris." Kollie claims vehicle registration records connect the pickup to Harris and is calling for Biago's immediate resignation, investigation, and prosecution.

The allegations also claim that drug traffickers have infiltrated Liberia's security institutions, particularly the LDEA and the Liberia National Police..

UNITY PARTY WAS AND IS DESPERATELY DESPERATE.

Good morning and for your breakfast this morning,
I hear sugar ants 🐜 calling Cdcians desperate for 2029 electoral changes. It makes me retrospect on who is truly desperate then desperate itself.

You can recall that Senator Dillion called for the stoning of President Weah convoy while Fadiga prayed for the aircraft he gets in to fall in the ocean without thinking that other passengers including some of his sugar ants 🐜 could have been on board the same flight. Costa called for guns and push for the government to be overthrowned while President Boakai attended a rally calling for President Weah to step down and even accused President Weah of bringing in Kush. President Boakai even threatened that the country Liberia will end if he’s not declared a winner and this is how desperate he was. These desperate hustlers even called for sanction on Liberia and lobbied for individual sanctions against some former officials by using dangerous lies that some have come to publicly confess and apologize for today.

For the lies they used every means at their reach to lie on former officials and even lied to the voters. Today what remains constant among the voters is that nothing has changed and things are hard and Weah time is better then Boakai time. Even the pro government media outlets sampling views on the streets have reported this from various interviews.

The truth is that if UP was so hungry and desperate for power they will be more dangerous in their desperate quest to maintain power but we have a message so mellifluous and melancholic for them. No man born of a woman can ever change the popular mandate of the Liberian people in 2029 and an attempt to do so will lead Boakai and Koung behind bars.

My request to Cdcians and the genuine opposition community is to remain committed and vigilant as always because these sugar ants 🐜 have gone into self destruction. This government has failed on not just the fight against drugs and corruption but they just can’t address the bread and butter issue. Their lies have caught up with them and it’s a matter of time to get them out.

If they do call you desperate just remind them of their reckless desperation before and now.

Dependable Nephew alias, Bombshell Hero Henry P. Costa has this to say on his birthday:

"People from the old government, who are in the Legislature, who were once in the Executive Branch, serving senior level positions, they are being looked into.

Your be sitting down there. I saw one of them posting on Facebook the other day saying the country is bleeding. Da now you know Liberia is bleeding? Ehn? Da now you know Liberia bleeding? Bleeding what?"

Former Finance Minister Samuel Tweh writes:

“Mr. Justice Minister, excellent statement on the role facts and evidence should play in an investigation or more broadly in matters of public governance. You have my support on such statement.

But under you as minister, facts and evidence were adduced in a court of law to acquit political opponents of the Rescue Government and your ministry is manipulating the justice system to illegally intimidate jurors, though as minister you had already publicly accepted the verdict. This is the very politics you declaimed against today at the Ministry of Information.

So we in the opposition and the broader public cannot trust a Rescue Government that wants to argue fact evidence in a drug case, while at the same time manipulating evidence against political opponents in other cases.

We see clearly that the Government is ignoring evidence implicating senior members of the Government and the Joint security in the current drug saga. How do we trust such a system?

This is why Mr. Minister consistency in matters of law is the only guarantor of public trust which this Government can never have in its conduct of the current drug investigation.

Your statement that the public should provide information to the Americans if they do not trust the security actors leading the investigation is not a solution to the trust deficit the Government faces, since it is not the Americans that are leading the investigation.

I encourage you to call on the President to announce an independent investigation!

Thanks.”

As the dispute between the MDR Youth leadership and Senator Samuel Kogar over party regalia deepens, the MDR Youth Congress has issued a public caution warning supporters against counterfeit red hats.

From the Movement for Democracy and Reconciliation Party (MDR) Youth Congress.

"CAUTION: BEWARE OF FAKE RED HATS.

It has come to our attention that, despite the retrieval of our official red hat, some individuals are attempting to produce a counterfeit version in an effort to mislead the public and prove a point.

We wish to inform the general public that any unauthorized duplication or imitation of our official red hat should be regarded as fake and does not represent the MDR Youth Congress.

We urge all supporters and the general public to remain vigilant and avoid being deceived"

Signed:

Telia Urey of Shaita FC - writes ✍️ 🚨

Rather than concentrating on CAF compliance and the development of Liberian football, the LFA invested its time and energy over the past two months in pursuing baseless cases against Benita Urey, Shaita Angels and Cassel Kuoh- people who are fighting to improve football in the country. The result is evident today: the entire country is paying the price for misguided leadership and misplaced priorities.

This is a serious shame on LFA- a lost opportunity for our young players and we have to do better for our country.
