NATO Energy Security Centre of Excellence welcomed a group of trainees from the Ministry of Defence to as part of their study visit.
🔍During their visit, the group explored Lithuania’s security environment, including military, hybrid, and cyber threats, as well as resilience and cooperation between national and international actors.
⚡At COE, discussions focused on the importance of energy security in strengthening and the value of international cooperation in addressing today’s complex security challenges.

Last week, NATO ENSEC COE welcomed Mr. Mathieu Bussières, Director of NATO Climate Change and Security Centre of Excellence (CCASCOE), to Vilnius for discussions with Colonel Gytis Kazokas, Director of NATO ENSEC COE.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two Centres, including:
✅ the High North and Arctic Project, which brings together expertise in energy security, critical infrastructure protection, and climate security.
✅ The FORTE 2026 conference — Future Operations: Resilience in Transitioning Energy — in Vilnius, on 27–29 October 2026.
✅ Montreal Climate Security Summit 2026 in Montreal, Canada.

Working together across NATO Centres of Excellence helps strengthen the Alliance's resilience in addressing the interconnected challenges of energy security, climate change, and critical infrastructure protection.
