ĠEMMA: EP 17 - Żgħażagħ Ippreparati għall-Ħajja: Ħiliet, Kunfidenza u Indipendenza Finanzjarja

Dan l-episodju tal-podcast ta’ ĠEMMA ffoka fuq kif iż-żgħażagħ jistgħu jiġu ppreparati aħjar għall-ħajja moderna permezz ta’ ħiliet essenzjali li jmorru lil hinn mill-edukazzjoni akkademika. Il-mistiedna kienu Jennifer Cauchi minn Aġenzija Żgħażagħ u Stephanie Fenech.

Id-diskussjoni ffokat fuq l-importanza ta’ ħiliet bħall-komunikazzjoni, il-ħsieb kritiku, il-kreattività u l-ippjanar, u kif dawn jikkontribwixxu għall-indipendenza personali u finanzjarja. Ġew diskussi wkoll programmi u inizjattivi li jgħinu liż-żgħażagħ jitgħallmu b’mod prattiku, inkluż kif jimmaniġġjaw il-flus, jaħdmu f’tim u jiżviluppaw ħsieb imprenditorjali. Ġie enfasizzat ukoll il-valur tal-esperjenzi internazzjonali u l-passatempi fit-tisħiħ tal-kunfidenza u r-responsabbiltà. Fl-aħħar, ġiet sottolinjata l-importanza li l-edukazzjoni finanzjarja tkun integrata ma’ ħiliet oħra tal-ħajja biex iż-żgħażagħ ikunu aktar preparati għall-futur.

The successful financial literacy sessions offered by ĠEMMA during Skolasajf have come to an end. The sessions were delivered in 42 centres across Malta and Gozo, reaching more than 2,000 students aged between 7 and 11. The winning teams in the competitions were Xgħajra and Żejtun Centres, while the runners-up were Siġġiewi and Victoria (Gozo). All teams received awards from Hon. Dr Michael Falzon, Minister for Social Policy and the Family, and Hon. Dr Byron Camilleri during an event held for students, educators and parents.

Din il-ġimgħa waqt l-episodju tal-Podcast ta' ĠEMMA ġiet diskussa l-isfida li wieħed jagħżel karriera li tibbilanċja bejn passjoni u stabbiltà finanzjarja.
