ފައުންޑޭޝަން ސްޓޭޖުގެ އިނގިރޭސި މުގައްރަރަށް މުދައްރިސުން އަހުލުވެރިކުރުވުމުގެ މަސައްކަތު ބައްދަލުވުން

ފައުންޑޭޝަން ސްޓޭޖުގެ މުދައްރިސުންނަށް އަމާޒުކޮށްގެން އިނގިރޭސި މުޤައްރަރު ތައާރަފުކުރުމުގެ ޕުރޮގުރާމެއް ފެށިގެން ކުރިއަށް އެބަދެއެވެ. 2026 ޖޫން މަހުގެ 10-11އަށް، ގަލޮޅު ސްކޫލުގައި ކުރިއަށް ގެންދާ މި މަސައްކަތު ބައްދަލުވުން އަމާޒުކޮށްފައިވަނީ ގަލޮޅު ސްކޫލް، ކާމިލްދީދީ ޕްރީސްކޫލް، މުޙްޔިއްދީން ސްކޫލާއި ފަލާޙް ޕްރީސްކޫލުގެ ފައުންޑޭޝަން ސްޓޭޖަށް ކިޔަވައިދެއްވާ ހުރިހާ މުދައްރިސުންނަށާއި ލީޑިންގ ޓީޗަރުންނަށެވެ. މި މަސައްކަތު ބައްދަލުވުމުގެ ބޭނުމަކީ ފައުންޑޭޝަން ސްޓޭޖުގެ މުގައްރަރާ އެއްގޮތަށް އިނގިރޭސިބަސް އުނގަންނައިދިނުމާއި، އުނގަންނައިދިނުމުގެ ވައްޓަފާޅިއާއި ހުނަރުވެރިކަން އިތުރުކުރުމެވެ.

The National Institute of Education (NIE), in collaboration with the Commonwealth Educational Media Centre for Asia (COL-CEMCA), has commenced the Hybrid TVET Consultation and Development Workshop: Designing the Maldives Hybrid TVET Framework.
The five-day workshop brings together stakeholders to collaboratively explore innovative approaches to expanding access to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) across the Maldives.
This initiative marks an important step towards building a more inclusive and future-ready TVET system, expanding opportunities for learners across the Maldives.

📢 Call for Abstracts – 8th International Teachers’ Conference (ITC2026)

The National Institute of Education (NIE) is pleased to announce the 8th International Teachers’ Conference (ITC2026), taking place in Malé, Maldives, from 12–13 September 2026.

We invite educators, researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to submit abstracts and contribute to a dynamic platform for dialogue, innovation, and knowledge sharing in education.

A one-day professional development program for A/L Mathematics teachers conducted to 20 teachers on 18th May 2026.
The training focused on strategies for teaching to try and make sure students can access questions targeting different assessment objectives in addition to marking of examination scripts.
The program was facilitated by a Pearson Examiner Ms. Catherine Murphy.
We look forward to seeing the impact of this training from classroom teachings and from student achievements.

The National Institute of Education (NIE) has officially commenced a curriculum reform initiative workshop supported by the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) System Transformation Grant.

As part of this important effort, Cambridge is collaborating closely with NIE to conduct a comprehensive review of existing syllabi and content. This process aims to identify gaps, eliminate redundancies, and create opportunities for stronger thematic integration across the curriculum.

ގްލޯބަލް ޕާޓްނަރޝިޕް ފޯ އެޑިއުކޭޝަން (ޖީ.ޕީ.އީ) ގެ 'ސިސްޓަމް ޓްރާންސްފޮމޭޝަން ގްރާންޓް' ގެ އެހީތެރިކަމާއެކު، ސިލަބަސްތަށް އިޞްލާޙުކުރުމުގެ މަސައްކަތް ނޭޝަނަލް އިންސްޓިޓިއުޓް އޮފް އެޑިއުކޭޝަން (އެން.އައި.އީ) އިން މިހާރު ވަނީ ރަސްމީކޮށް ފަށާފައެވެ.

މި މުހިންމު މަސައްކަތުގެ ތެރެއިން، މިހާރު ބޭނުންކުރަމުންދާ ސިލަބަސްތަކާއި ކިޔަވައިދޭ ބައިތައް ފުރިހަމައަށް މުރާޖަޢާކުރުމަށްޓަކައި ކޭމްބްރިޖުން ދަނީ އެން.އައި.އީ އާއެކު ވަރަށް ގާތުން މަސައްކަތް ކުރަމުންނެވެ. މި މަސައްކަތުގެ މައިގަނޑު އަމާޒަކީ ސިލަބަސްތަކުގެ ފުރިހަމަވާންޖެހޭ ބައިތައް ދެނެގަތުމުގެ އިތުރުން، މަންހަޖުގެ އެކި ބައިތައް މައުޟޫޢީ ގޮތުން އެކި މާއްދާތަކުގެ މެދުގައި މިހާރަށްވުރެ ބޮޑަށް ގުޅުވާލުމަށް ހުރި ފުރުޞަތުތައް ފަހިކުރުމެވެ.

A one-day training program for Key Stage 5 Physics teachers started on 3rd May 2026 at training room of Izzudhdheen Building for 21 teachers.

The program facilitated by Pearson Examiner Mrs. Pauline Anderson focusses on understanding assessment and improving outcomes with a special focus on marking.

We look forward to seeing the impact of this training in classrooms and help in student achievement.

A two-day Cambridge IGCSE Economics (0455) training workshop started on 29th April 2026 at Izzudhdheen Building, bringing together 28 teachers from across the Maldives.

Facilitated by Cambridge Examiner Mr. Adam Wilby, the workshop focusses on strengthening understanding of recent updates to the syllabus including assessment and subject content, while building practical skills in marking, giving effective feedback, and using past papers to support student learning.

"We look forward to seeing the impact of this training in classrooms and sharing of this knowledge with other teachers".
