NHE and Oranjemund Town Council Sign MoU to Accelerate Housing Development

The National Housing Enterprise (NHE) and the Oranjemund Town Council have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration and accelerate housing development in the Diamond Town.

The agreement was signed at the NHE Head Office by NHE Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gisbertus Mukulu, together with His Worship, Cllr. Pankratius Akwenye Kondjamba, Mayor of Oranjemund, and Mr. Jonathan Engelbrecht, Chairperson of the Oranjemund Town Council.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Thomas Shilongo, NHE Executive: Infrastructure Development, along with officials from both NHE and the Oranjemund Town Council.

This partnership marks an important step towards delivering sustainable and affordable housing solutions for the residents of Oranjemund.

The National Housing Enterprise (NHE) reminds all interested and eligible Namibian entities that the closing dates for selected bids have been extended. This is an opportunity to submit your proposal before the revised deadlines.

16 July 2026 (10h00): Advertising & Related Services and Event Management & Catering Services.
31 July 2026 (10h00): Supply, Installation & Maintenance of CCTV Systems.

Bidding documents are available on the NHE website, and all submissions must be delivered to the NHE Head Office before the respective closing dates.
