CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO ENGR. PASTOR BELOVED-DAN OBI-ANIKE ON THE PRESENTATION OF HIS CONSENSUS NOMINATION FOR 2ND TERM IN OFFICE:
The Media and Public Communication Office of Enugu East Local Government Area delightfully congratulates the Executive Chairman of Enugu East Local Government Area, Engr. Pastor Beloved-Dan Obi-Anike, on his successful emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) consensus flag bearer for the forthcoming Local Government Elections in Enugu State.
This well-deserved victory is a clear reflection of the overwhelming confidence reposed in his transformational leadership, remarkable performance, and unwavering dedication to the development and progress of Enugu East Local Government Area.
Since assuming office, Engr. Pastor Beloved-Dan Obi-Anike has continued to redefine grassroots governance through impactful leadership and people-oriented policies that have positively touched critical sectors of development across the Local Government Area.
His administration has recorded significant strides in human capital development through youth empowerment initiatives, skills acquisition programmes, community support interventions, and inclusive governance that continues to create opportunities for the people.
In the education sector, his administration has awarded full scholarships at secondary school and university levels and supported other learning development initiatives and strengthened community participation in educational advancement, while the healthcare sector has witnessed improved attention through health-focused interventions aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of residents across the wards and communities, his bold achievements in the health sector earned him the World Health Organization’s (WHO) recognition and award.
Under his administration, commerce and grassroots economic activities have continued to thrive through improved stakeholders engagements, support for local enterprise, women SMEs and policies aimed at encouraging economic participation within the Local Government Area.
The administration has also maintained visible efforts in infrastructure development, including road accessibility improvements, environmental sanitation, electricity support initiatives, distributed over 20 transformers to communities and neighborhoods with about 15 more and community development projects geared toward improving the quality of life of the people.
Engr. Pastor Beloved-Dan Obi-Anike’s administration has equally distinguished itself in promoting peace, security, unity, and social harmony across communities, ensuring a stable and inclusive atmosphere for development and coexistence within Enugu East.
His leadership style, anchored on consultation, accountability, institutional collaboration, and grassroots participation, has continued to earn the trust and admiration of stakeholders, party faithfuls, traditional institutions, youth groups, women organizations, and the people of Enugu East at large.
We profoundly appreciate and express our heartfelt gratitude to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Barr. Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for the trust, confidence, and unwavering support extended to the Executive Chairman and the leadership of Enugu East Local Government Area. The Governor’s visionary leadership and commitment to transformational governance continue to inspire sustainable development across Enugu State.
The nomination of Engr. Anike for a 2nd term further strengthens the collective resolve of the people of Enugu East to consolidate the numerous gains already recorded under the administration of Engr. Pastor Beloved-Dan Obi-Anike and to continue on the path of progress, stability, and inclusive development.
