Join us on Saturday, June 27th at 11.30 to march together in Oslo Pride Parade 🏳️‍🌈! All are welcome to show DAN support for our LGBTQIA+ friends, family, colleagues, neighbors and selves!

Wear your best, brightest colors of the rainbow🌈, comfortable walking shoes👟, and sunscreen🧴! It’s also a good idea to bring a water bottle.

We’ll meet to line up at 11.30 in Helga Helgesens plass and the parade will start at 12 noon.

The route winds from Grønland to Kontraskjæret and will be approximately 2km in length but we will not be walking fast. If you want to join for all or part of the parade you are welcome!

🌍✊🏾 A New Chapter Begins
On Juneteenth, three Americans gathered to hold the founding meeting of the Democrats Abroad Norway - Black Caucus .
As we commemorated freedom and reflected on the opening of the Obama Presidential Center, we also took the first steps toward building a community dedicated to connection, civic engagement, and racial equity among Americans living in Norway.
Together, we discussed plans for an official launch this fall, future events, and ways to strengthen voter engagement and democratic participation from abroad.
While centered on the experiences and perspectives of Black Americans and the African diaspora, we welcome all Democrats Abroad members and allies who share our commitment to justice, inclusion, and community.
This is only the beginning—and we're still building. We are currently recruiting additional members for our core team and welcome those who would like to help shape the future of the caucus.
