International Tiger Day- 29 July
A tiger is not just a magnificent wild animal; it is the guardian of our forests, rivers, biodiversity, and ecological balance.
When tigers thrive, forests thrive.
When forests thrive, humanity survives.

Nepal stands proudly as a global conservation success story. Through dedicated conservation efforts, stronger protection, community participation, and habitat management, Nepal has made remarkable progress in increasing its wild tiger population. This achievement proves that when governments, conservationists, and local communities work together, nature can recover.

Yet, our responsibility does not end here. Habitat destruction, illegal wildlife trade, forest encroachment, pollution, and climate change continue to threaten wildlife.
On this International Tiger Day, let us pledge to: Protect forests.

Preserve rivers and water sources. Reduce pollution and plastic waste. Plant and protect native trees. Respect wildlife and support conservation efforts.

Saving tigers is not only about protecting one species, it is about securing the future of our planet and generations to come.

No Forests, No Tigers. No Tigers, No Healthy Ecosystem.
No Healthy Ecosystem, No Future.

Nepal's latest national tiger estimate is 355 wild tigers, making it one of the world's leading tiger conservation success stories.

World Nature Conservation Day
Nature is not an inheritance from our ancestors; it is a sacred trust for future generations. Every tree we plant, every river we protect, and every piece of plastic we refuse brings us one step closer to a healthier planet.

Let's move beyond words and take action for clean air, pure water, rich biodiversity, and a sustainable future.
Protect Nature. Preserve Life. Together, we can make a difference.

Heartiest greetings and best wishes on World Environment Day 2026.

"Protect Nature, Secure the Future."

Green, Clean and Healthy Birgunj Polythene Bags, Pollution Free Birgunj
Save the Earth, Save the Environment
With this guiding principle, and as in previous years, the week-long World Environment Day celebrations continued this year as well. On the main day, 5 June 2026 (22 Jestha 2083 B.S.), members of Nature Service Foundation, Nepal, senior social workers, and the Director teachers, and students of Jeevan Jyoti School actively participated in a tree plantation program at the sacred premises of Vishwa Monastery, a holy site associated with Mahatma Buddha Ji.

Various species of trees and plants were planted to mark the occasion and to promote environmental awareness, conservation, and sustainability. Such initiatives play a vital role in fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature and in building a cleaner, healthier, and greener future for coming generations.
"One Person, One Tree - A Strong Step Towards a Greener Future."
