Start time 9.15am: Remember its Book Character day tomorrow. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in their costumes, remember to bring your book :)

We have made a change to start time and it will be slightly earlier based on feedback to allow parents to stay on to watch after dropping students off in the morning. The parade will start at 9.15am, please pop in to the staffroom for a cuppa while you wait :)

A reminder that tomorrow (Friday) and Tuesday are Teacher Only Days at Cheviot Area School.

Our teachers will be working together in workshops to design and develop our PB4L – Positive Behaviour for Learning – and Cool Schools peer mediation programmes. They will also be working alongside our Ministry of Education curriculum advisors as we continue to strengthen teaching and learning across the school.

Monday is King’s Birthday, so school will also be closed for the public holiday.

We look forward to seeing all our students back at school on Wednesday. Enjoy the long weekend, everyone :)
