UC Library invites students of law and
business to particape in a reseach study on textbook
purchasing in Aotearoa New Zealand. 📑

With this research the project team hope to:
- Understand the amount of money LLB and BCom
students have spent on textbooks in 2026
- Obtain data to understand whether the cost of
textbooks impacts on students' purchasing behaviour
- Obtain data to understand whether the cost of
textbooks impacts on students' use of their institutional
library
- Understand students' viewpoints on textbook access
and their study success
The information from this study will help to inform
textbook purchasing decisions by the library.

Our DTG printer in Te Rua Makerspace is currently on sick leave due to a printing malfunction.

It will likely be out of action until at least term 4 so please get in touch with makerspace staff for alternative garment printing options in the meantime.

A reminder that from today, access to Macmillan Brown Library and Level 2 of Te Ao Mārama is via stairs only, while we get a new lift installed. If this impacts you, please get in touch so we can find a way to get library resources to you. You can also expect some construction noise in the Library for the next few weeks. (We have free ear plugs!)

🛠We're getting a new lift in Macmillan Brown Library 😀but that means our old lift will be out of action from Monday 22 June. Access to MB Library and Level 2 of Te Ao Mārama will be via stairs only until the end of July. 😞 If this impacts you, please contact us as we will find other ways to help you access Library resources. Also, expect some construction noise in the Library 🛠 (we have free ear plugs!🎧)
