Our amazing tamariki in action today at the South Canterbury Primary Schools Cross Country, held at Waihi School. I am so proud of their efforts, and it was a privilege to watch them compete and support each other throughout the event.
The year 5 girls came first with Charlie gaining 1st Place.
The year 5 boys came second with Oscar gaining 1st Place.
The year 6 girls showed so much tenacity and grit.
The year 6 boys came first with Ollie and Judah gaining 2nd and 3rd respectively.
What I love about each of these students, is that whether they came first or 54th the support and kindness they showed towards each other was outstanding. A testament to their sporting values.
A huge thanks to our incredible parents for their support on the day. Your help is gratefully received.

‼️We are now in desperate need of any second hand GPS uniforms please! If you can have a look through what you have at home, and if you are able to donate any size 4 or 6 to the Primary School, this would be hugely appreciated! This Samoan Language Week, we reflect on the theme:

“From the high mountains come the blessings of the village.”

Just as mountains are a source of identity, protection, and blessing in Samoa, we give thanks for the people who nurture, teach, guide, and support our tamariki every day.
