🌟 Meet the Team Monday! 🌟

Meet Cris, our Library Manager! ✨

Cris has been part of the Gore District Libraries team for the past four months, and it’s safe to say she’s already become a favourite!

With a background as a true library superstar, Cris knows her way around the library and you might even recognise her from her much-loved StoryTimes! 📖

Cris loves all things libraries and books, but when she’s not surrounded by them, you’ll likely find her enjoying some of her other favourite things - cats (just check out the fabulous office decor 🐈), cheese 🧀, and having a good laugh! 😂

We’re so lucky to have her on the team! 💛

That means our winter Sunday hours at Gore Library have finished, and we’re back to our regular opening hours! 📚

🗓️ Gore Library hours are now:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 9:30am – 6:00pm
Wednesday: 9:30am – 8:00pm 🌙
Saturday: 10:00am – 1:00pm

A big thank you to everyone who popped in to see us on Sunday afternoons over winter. We loved having you!

The Hokonui Fashion Design Awards Children’s Colouring Competition is always a highlight 💫

Congratulations to our age group winners, and thank you to everyone who entered. We loved seeing the creativity behind this year’s Southland-themed hoodies!

A big thank you to Gore District Libraries for displaying the entries and hosting our prizegiving. Community is at the heart of what we do, and we love getting the next generation involved 💛
