Turuki Health Care congratulates Michelle Hippolite on her new appointment! 🌿

A big mihi and congratulations to Michelle Hippolite on her appointment as Executive National Director, Hauora Maaori Services at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, commencing 1 November 2026.

Michelle brings a wealth of experience, leadership and a longstanding commitment to improving outcomes for Maaori whaanau. We look forward to the continued strengthening of hauora Maaori services under her leadership.

We also acknowledge Selah Hart for her outstanding leadership as interim Executive National Director and congratulate her as she returns to her substantive role as Director Performance and Planning, while also taking on the new interim role of Deputy National Director – Hauora Maaori Services.

We wish both Michelle and Selah every success as they continue their important mahi to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for Maaori whaanau across Aotearoa.
