As we end another wonderful season, the Pool Committee would like to thank our small dedicated teams within our committee that make sure our pool stays warm and clean each day.
Our committee is made up of local volunteers who put in many hours of their time in and around the pool, but our amazing boiler and cleaning crews are at the pool many times a day, every day, during the season.

So a huge thank-you to our boiler crew of Craig MacGillivray, Fraser McKitterick, Rose Baldwin, Joanne McKenzie, and Cameron Hogg. This is a HUGE job keeping the boiler room running, THANK-YOU.

And our team of cleaners Megan Anderson, Sue Samson, Sue Terry and Biddy Gentleman, do an amazing job keep our spaces looking great.

If there is anyone in the community who thinks they would like to be a part of keeping this amazing facility running, and have time to volunteer next season, please get in touch we would love to hear from you.

After another busy season it is that time again when we need to close the pool for winter. We will officially close Sunday 29th March.
Once again we need to give a huge thanks to the amazing team who work tirelessly behind the scene to keep the boiler running. This is a huge job and we wouldn't be able to stay open with out them. Also another big thank-you to the cleaning team who keep our pool looking amazing throughout the season.
And to the key tag holders in our community, whether you swim every morning, on the hot days, hired the pool for parties or signed your children up for swimming lessons, thank-you so much for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you all again next summer!

Another successful weekend of swimming with Graeme Laing done and dusted! Lots of wonderful progress was made. Graeme is a very special person who gets the best out of the kids in a very short time - building easy rapport and trust. He has a method that works and it never ceases to amaze.

Well done to all parents and kids for their commitment to what is a very busy weekend of swimming. Thanks to the committee for keeping the pool running. The support of the Ohai-Nightcaps Lions Club and Ohai Railway Fund is very much appreciated for helping to make these lessons accessible for our local kids too. 💕
