Hari Te Wiki o te Reo Māori - Happy Māori Language Week!
The tamariki harvested harakeke and learnt about the steps that are involved in this, beginning with a karakia and what parts to harvest. They weaved putiputi, as well as learnt waiata with poi and rakau and created kowhaiwhai patterns to represent their whānau 🌾

Our biggest Phase 10 game yet….9 participants. I love that children seek us out to play it in the morning, and one family has now bought it for home as well. There are so many skills and learnings from card games and board games….cognitive flexibility, working memory, emotional regulation, social connections, probability and risk skills, adaptability, prioritisation. And it’s fun! 💕
