January can be a quiet month for the team but not 2026 with 14 calls for the month. The team have also got back into training on Monday nights to ensure we're ready when the siren goes!

WOW TEMUKA COMMUNITY! Your generosity last night at "Toot for Tucker" has filled up the Temuka Food Bank ensuring no one in our community needs to go hungry this Christmas. Special thanks to Temuka Seed, TNT services, Mackenzie Supply Services, Temuka Transport, Fonterra and Property Brokers Temuka for providing support vehicles and staff. Thanks also goes to all the volunteers from Fire and Emergency, St John and Police who walked the streets and sounded their sirens. TOOT FOR TUCKER TEMUKA don't be surprised by all the sirens tomorrow night! This will be your emergency services and local businesses collecting for the Temuka food bank. If you can't come and meet us at the gate between 6pm and 8pm then please leave it by your letter box and we'll collect it. See you tomorrow evening!
