A quick fire saftey reminder after a few recent calls the brigade has attended. Please make sure you don't overload your multiboards, if you have a heater make sure this is pluged directly into the wall. The rule is if it heats or cools plug it straight into a wall socket. Brigade calls for the first six months of the year. A big thank you to all our members, their families and employers we couldn't do this without your support.

WOW TEMUKA COMMUNITY! Your generosity last night at "Toot for Tucker" has filled up the Temuka Food Bank ensuring no one in our community needs to go hungry this Christmas. Special thanks to Temuka Seed, TNT services, Mackenzie Supply Services, Temuka Transport, Fonterra and Property Brokers Temuka for providing support vehicles and staff. Thanks also goes to all the volunteers from Fire and Emergency, St John and Police who walked the streets and sounded their sirens. If you're in need of food please contact the Temuka Food Bank on 027 501 3636.

TOOT FOR TUCKER TEMUKA don't be surprised by all the sirens tomorrow night! This will be your emergency services and local businesses collecting for the Temuka food bank. If you can't come and meet us at the gate between 6pm and 8pm then please leave it by your letter box and we'll collect it. See you tomorrow evening!
