Police Recruitment Team arrived in Bialla and met by Nakanai DA with PSC Bialla at Hargy Training Centre. They will be assisting candidates to submit their application online. They will be here until tomorrow 12.00 p.m.
They will be in Kimbe on the 5th, 6th and 7th August.

Bali/Vitu meeting update.

It was a successful meeting today at Tavur center were several town residents responded to the call made by Hon Sam Kivia the Bali/Vitu LLG President to secure support from the Bali/Vitu people on how best to help the people on the islands that are affected by elnino. Several resolutions passed are:
1. A working committee was established and the members attended appointed Mr. Harold Bito as the Chairman for the working committee.
2. The meeting resolved to open a bank account for specifically for this relieve efforts. In the meantime, the Chairman's bank account was nominated for use temporarily
3. A total contribution of K20,000 in cash and pledges were made by the members in the meeting held today at the Tavur Centre.
4. On Friday 31st July, 2026 there will be a meeting convened under the tree in front of BSP to collect donations from Bali/Vitu residents in Town and Blocks and the general public.
5. Those who are unable to attend the Friday meeting can deposit their contributions directly in the nominated account;
