Representing the Virtual Library Club were ๐€๐ฅ๐ž๐ฑ ๐‹๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ง ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐ณ, VLC President; ๐‰๐š๐œ๐จ๐› ๐€๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ข๐จ, VLC Vice President; and ๐‚๐ก๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž ๐™๐š๐ง๐ž ๐Š๐ก๐ž๐ฆ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ข, VLC Secretary, who successfully attended and participated in the seminar.

The discussion covered the meaning and different types of bullying, the roles of bystanders and upstanders, and relevant laws and policies on bullying, emphasizing the importance of empathy, courage, and responsible action in promoting a safe and inclusive school community.

Through the seminar, the VLC officers gained meaningful knowledge that they can share with their fellow students and apply in promoting a respectful, supportive, and bullying-free environment within the Virtual Library Club and the wider school community.

The activity reinforced the message that creating a safe and inclusive environment is a shared responsibility. By choosing to speak up, support others, and stand against bullying, students can become positive influences and help foster a culture of respect, kindness, and inclusion.

VLC stands together for a safer and more compassionate communityโ€”because every voice can make a difference.

The Virtual Library Club (VLC) successfully conducted its ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  ๐’๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง for ๐’.๐˜. ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”โ€“๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ• on ๐’๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–, ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, at the ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ž ๐‹๐ข๐›๐ซ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž๐๐ข๐š ๐‘๐จ๐จ๐ฆ. The session brought together the Virtual Library Club officers, members and advisers to discuss organizational matters, upcoming activities, and plans for the new school year.

During the session, ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐’๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ๐ฅ ๐€๐ง๐ง ๐‹๐ข๐ง๐š๐ญ๐จ๐œ, VLC Adviser, and ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐‘๐จ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ž ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ, VLC Co-Adviser, led the discussion on matters concerning the VLC. They tackled the VLC Constitution and By-Laws, Action Plan for S.Y. 2026โ€“2027, upcoming Library and Information Services Month (LISM) activities, and VLC social media engagement. Alex Lovelyn Martirez, VLC President, also shared updates on the matters discussed during the First Semester Meeting with Presidents.

The session also included a discussion on Student Library Assistant (SLA)-related matters, led by ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐‰๐จ๐ฒ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ž ๐‘. ๐๐š๐œ๐ฌ๐š, LRC Chief. She checked on the studentsโ€™ experiences as Library Working Scholars and facilitated a meaningful discussion on UNITY, focusing on the meaning of โ€œUNITโ€ in both positive and negative contexts. The students were encouraged to reflect on the question, โ€œWhy are you a Library Working Scholar?โ€, allowing them to revisit their personal motivations, purpose, and commitment to their role.

The discussion also addressed immediate actions and interventions to respond to concerns, strengthen teamwork, and improve the Library Working Scholar experience.

The session served as a meaningful opportunity for the VLC officers and Library Working Scholars to reflect, collaborate, and plan for a more productive S.Y. 2026โ€“2027, while strengthening their commitment to supporting the programs and services of the Learning Resource Center.

The gathering brought together student organization leaders for an afternoon of collaboration, coordination, and leadership engagement. The meeting provided an avenue for the participating organizations to discuss important matters concerning student activities and organizational operations for the semester.

Among the matters discussed were preparations for upcoming university activities, organizational requirements and procedures, student-related concerns, and the implementation of various programs and initiatives. The leaders also received updates on the SSC's activity calendar, leadership development programs, and guidelines concerning organizational coordination and documentation.

For Ms. Martirez, the meeting served as an opportunity to represent the VLC and stay informed about university-wide initiatives that may involve student organizations. Her participation also reflects the VLC's commitment to active leadership and collaboration beyond the library community.

The Senior High School Virtual Library Club (SHS VLC) successfully held its 2nd SHS VLC Day on September 11, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Room 301, Senior High School Building.

The event was organized by Ms. Dhealyne Mercado, SHS VLC Club Moderator/SHS Librarian, together with the VLC Officers, and was actively attended by SHS VLC members and officers who enthusiastically participated in the Library Olympics.

The program began with the introduction of Ms. Mercado as the new SHS VLC Club Moderator, followed by the introduction of the VLC Officers and members. The segment allowed everyone to become more familiar with the individuals who lead and participate in the club.

The highlight of the 2nd Club Day was the Library Olympics, featuring a series of library-themed games facilitated by Ms. Mercado together with the VLC Officersโ€”Mr. Lance Rui C. Cagunan, SHS VLC President; Mr. Kian Gabriel J. Guevarra, Vice President; Ms. Stephanie Gail E. Tirol, Secretary; Ms. Gabrielle Eve A. Cubacub, Auditor; and Ms. Prenchie Ronalyn P. Bolivar, Business Manager. The games were designed to familiarize students with the libraryโ€™s resources, services, and facilities in an interactive and enjoyable way. Throughout the Library Olympics, the officers actively assisted in facilitating the different activities and engaging the participants. Members demonstrated their knowledge of the library while developing leadership, communication, decision-making, and collaboration skills. The games also provided an opportunity to promote the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) and encourage students to explore books and other learning resources.

More than a friendly competition, the SHS VLC 2nd Club Day gave members an opportunity to connect with fellow club members, participate actively, and strengthen their appreciation of the library as a space for learning and discovery.

The activity provided an opportunity for students to participate in the democratic selection of the club's new set of student leaders for ๐’๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐˜๐ž๐š๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”โ€“๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•. Following the casting of votes, the election committee conducted the manual counting and canvassing of votes to ensure the proper recording and verification of the election results.
