The Junior Business High School and Senior High School Virtual Library Clubs successfully held their first club meetings for School Year 2026โ2027 on July 2, 2026, at the SHS Building, Room 301, for the Senior High School Department, and on July 3, 2026, at the Junior Business High School Library for the Junior Business High School Department.
The inaugural club meetings marked the official start of the Virtual Library Club's activities for the academic year. During the sessions, student members were introduced to the club's mission, objectives, and planned programs designed to promote reading, information literacy, leadership, and active library engagement. A major highlight of the first meeting was the election of the club officers, where members democratically selected their student leaders who will guide and represent the organization throughout the school year. Following the election, the newly elected officers and members participated in discussions regarding the club's proposed activities, projects, and initiatives, sharing ideas and plans for programs that will encourage greater student participation and library involvement.
The first club meetings provided an excellent opportunity for members to become acquainted with one another, build teamwork, and begin planning meaningful activities that will benefit the school community.
The Learning Resource Center congratulates the newly elected officers of both the Junior Business High School and Senior High School Virtual Library Clubs and looks forward to a productive and successful year of leadership, service, and learning. The LRC also extends its appreciation to all student members for their enthusiasm and commitment to making the Virtual Library Club an active and engaging organization within the Basic Education Department.
