The DSWD Regional Rehabilitation Center for Youth (RRCY) formalized its partnership with Open Door Baptist Church, Church in the House Global, Inc., and Grace Baptist Church through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held at the Regional Haven for Women and Girls Multipurpose Hall today, 4 June 2026. The activity was led by RRCY Center Head Clarissa O. Padio, who underscored the importance of sustained collaboration with faith-based organizations.
Representatives from the partners โ Pastor Emmanuel G. Rodriguez of Church in the House Global, Inc., Pastor Delano J. Idio of Grace Baptist Church and Pastor Bengino Busacay Jr. of Open Door Baptist Church โ expressed their commitment to support the rehabilitation journey of the youth through spiritual guidance and values formation activities.
DSWD Field Office Cordillera Administrative Region (FO CAR) OIC Regional Director Enrique H. Gascon, Jr. emphasized that the RRCY serves as a โhome for a second chance,โ guided by the RRCY SHEPHERDS Framework, which ensures holistic care through social, home life, economic, psychological, health, educational, recreational, developmental, and spiritual enhancement services that support the rehabilitation and reintegration of its residents.
Also, OIC Assistant Regional Director Mary Ann G. Buclao expressed gratitude to the partnership, creating a nurturing environment for healing and growth. The ceremonial signing of the MOA marked the shared commitment of DSWD RRCY and its partners to advance comprehensive rehabilitation programs that help its residents rebuild their lives and become responsible members of society.
