Day 1 of the activity commenced with an energizing morning Zumba session, promoting physical wellness, boosting morale, and encouraging interaction among employees. The lively exercise set a positive tone for the activity, allowing participants to start the day refreshed and motivated. This was followed by an insightful lecture on Values and Ethics given by Mr. Cristino Balancio where he talked about the importance of integrity, accountability, professionalism and ethical conduct in public service. He encouraged the employees to uphold these values while doing their duties and while building a positive and productive workplace. Fun games were also conducted to promote cooperation, communication, creativity, and trust among participants, highlighting that collaboration is essential in achieving organizational goals.
On Day 2, participants gathered at Mt. Camisong, Itogon, Benguet, where they took part in outdoor team challenges designed to strengthen camaraderie, critical thinking, leadership, and teamwork. The activity concluded with an inspiring message from Pastor Maximo Ochasan, who shared words of faith, encouragement, and reflection, reminding everyone of the importance of humility, compassion, and unity both in the workplace and in everyday life.
The capacity building concluded successfully, leaving participants with valuable lessons on teamwork, leadership, ethical public service, and personal growth. More importantly, it served as a reminder that a united workforce is the foundation of a productive and high-performing organization. May the knowledge, values, and experiences gained from this activity continue to inspire every employee to work together with excellence, respect, and a shared commitment to serving the public.
