The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Baras Fire Station, under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭. 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑮, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Regional Director, and under the direct supervision of 𝑭𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑵𝑶𝑳𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭. 𝑩𝑬𝑨𝑹𝑰𝑺, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Provincial Fire Marshal of Catanduanes, and led by 𝑺𝑭𝑶𝟐 𝑹𝒆𝒙 𝑩. 𝑺𝒂𝒖𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒐, Officer-in-Charge of Baras Fire Station, conducted an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) activity on the Role of the BFP During Disasters.

The activity was facilitated by FO1 Caño and FO1 Masbate, who discussed the vital roles and responsibilities of BFP personnel before, during, and after disasters. The discussion emphasized the importance of preparedness, rapid response, coordination, fire prevention, rescue operations, and other emergency response functions to ensure the safety and protection of the community.

The activity aimed to strengthen public awareness and understanding of the BFP’s role in disaster preparedness and response, while encouraging active community participation and cooperation in building a safer and more resilient community.

Under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭. 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑮, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Regional Director, and under the direct supervision of 𝑭𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑵𝑶𝑳𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭. 𝑩𝑬𝑨𝑹𝑰𝑺, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Provincial Fire Marshal of Catanduanes, and led by 𝑺𝑭𝑶𝟐 𝑹𝒆𝒙 𝑩. 𝑺𝒂𝒖𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒐, Officer-in-Charge of Baras Fire Station, the Health and Wellness Day was conducted today, September 1, 2026.

The activity featured various physical fitness exercises focused on improving physical strength, cardiovascular endurance, physical conditioning, and the overall fitness of the personnel.

The activity aimed to maintain and improve the health and physical readiness of every personnel, ensuring that they remain fit and prepared to respond effectively to various emergencies and challenges in the performance of their duties. It also provided an opportunity to strengthen discipline, teamwork, camaraderie, and cooperation among the personnel of Baras Fire Station.

Under the leadership of 𝑭𝑪𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑱𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑴𝑨𝑺𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑮, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Regional Director, and direct supervision of 𝑭𝑺𝑼𝑷𝑻 𝑵𝑶𝑳𝑰𝑻𝑶 𝑭 𝑩𝑬𝑨𝑹𝑰𝑺, 𝑫𝑺𝑪, Provincial Fire Marshal, Catanduanes, headed by 𝙎𝙁𝙊2 𝙍𝙚𝙭 𝘽 𝙎𝙖𝙪𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙤, Officer-In-Charge, Baras, duty personnel of this station attended an Online Mass to strengthen their faith, seek spiritual guidance, and reflect amidst the demands of their duties. As part of the Family Day celebration, BFP duty personnel participated in recreational activities such as Scrabble and Sepak Takraw while remaining committed to their duties and responsibilities. The activities provided a brief opportunity for personnel to relax, strengthen camaraderie, and promote teamwork while maintaining operational readiness and ensuring continuous public safety and emergency response .
