TURN-OVER CEREMONY OF THE PERIMETER FENCE AND LANDSCAPING

On October 26, 2026, Dela Paz National High School celebrated the successful turn-over of its perimeter fence and landscaping project, marking another step toward providing a safer, more secure, and more conducive learning environment for its learners.

The successful completion of the project reflects the collective commitment of the City Government of Biñan, led by City Mayor Gel Alonte, and the continued support of Congressman Arman Dimaguila Jr., alongside education leaders and community stakeholders, in advancing educational development and improving school facilities for the benefit of learners.

During the program, City Mayor Gel Alonte emphasized that students should never be afraid to dream. Through initiatives such as the Biñan City College, the local government continues to open doors of opportunity and inspire learners to pursue their aspirations.

The mayor also encouraged everyone to take good care of and preserve the school’s buildings and facilities. These improvements aim to motivate learners and provide an environment that supports their academic growth and development.

Meanwhile, Dr. Arlene Ricasata, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent, highlighted that the perimeter fence and landscaping project are just a small part of the many initiatives being undertaken by the City Government of Biñan to improve learning environments. Other projects, including the installation of solar panels, further demonstrate the city’s continuing investment in education.

The ceremony underscored a shared message: Education is the key to a better future. Learners were encouraged to make the most of the opportunities available to them through the support of the local government, school leaders, and the wider community.

The successful completion of the project reflects the importance of strong partnerships and collective efforts in building better schools and brighter futures for every learner.

SDO Biñan Orients Teachers on English Computerized Learning Program

SDO Biñan City, through the Curriculum Implementation Division, conducted the English Computerized Learning Program (ECLP) Orientation on October 16 via Zoom. The activity aims to strengthen the use of technology in teaching and learning English, particularly in developing learners’ beginning reading skills.

The orientation highlighted the integration of ECLP into the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program to support learners who need reading intervention. Through interactive and technology-assisted learning activities, teachers can provide engaging and targeted instruction to help learners develop foundational literacy skills.

The initiative reinforces the division’s commitment to improving reading proficiency and ensuring that every learner receives appropriate support to become a confident and independent reader.

With the theme of promoting safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments, we reaffirm our shared commitment to protecting every learner from bullying, violence, discrimination, and all forms of abuse.
