The Municipal Civil Registrar’s Office (MCR) of Capas, headed by Atty. Marco Polo E. Cunanan, bagged two top provincial awards in Tarlac: 𝗧𝗼𝗽 1 – 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗖𝗥𝗢 2025 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗽 1 – 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗡𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 (𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗣) 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗬 2025.

The achievement comes as a direct result of the office’s proactive grassroots drive, persistently conducting free birth registrations even in the municipality’s most remote and hard-to-reach areas.

CAPAS SB RECOGNIZES EIGHT B.E.S.T. BARANGAYS

The Sangguniang Bayan of Capas passed a resolution authored by Vice Mayor Alex Espinosa on September 17, recognizing and honoring the B.E.S.T. Barangays awarded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).

During Monday’s flag-raising ceremony, Mayor Boots Rodriguez, together with Vice Mayor and Presiding Officer Alex Espinosa and the members of the Sangguniang Bayan, formally presented the resolutions to eight barangays in recognition of their dedicated leadership and exemplary service to their respective communities.

30 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗘𝗖𝗖𝗗 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝗖𝗗𝗖𝘀) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 across the municipality were formally awarded 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 by the 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗘𝗖𝗖𝗗) 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 during the First Monday Flag Raising Ceremony today, October 5, 2026, at the Capas Event Center.

The awardees received official government recognition for providing quality, center-based early education programs for children aged 0 to 4 years old, covering school years 2026 to 2030.

The recognitions were conferred across three categories based on national evaluation scores: 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗜 (𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆), 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗜𝗜 (𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗜𝗜𝗜 (𝗢𝘂𝘁𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴).

The Child Development Workers took the stage alongside their respective Punong Barangays to accept their awards. The certificates were presented by Mayor Roseller "Boots" Rodriguez, Vice Mayor Alex C. Espinosa, members of the Sangguniang Bayan ng Capas and Capas Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office Head, Ms. Consorcia Corpuz.

It was a morning of gratitude and shared pride as the Municipal Government of Capas honored its long-serving employees and celebrated a valued retiree during the flag raising ceremony today, October 5, 2026, at the Capas Event Center.

A special 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗔. 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗶𝘀 37 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 under the Office of the Market Supervisor, as a permanent employee of the municipality.

The Municipal Government of Capas held its First Monday Flag Raising Ceremony for the month of October today, October 5, 2026, at the Capas Event Center in Brgy. Sto. Rosario.

The ceremony was co-hosted by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), the Public Order and Safety Management Office (POSMO) and the Municipal Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (MTFRB).

The morning program highlighted the recognition of dedicated municipal service awardees, a commendation from the Sangguniang Bayan for the barangays recognized under the DILG B.E.S.T. Barangay program and the awarding of certificates and government recognition to local Child Development Workers and Child Development Centers conferred by the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Council.

The event was led by Municipal Mayor Roseller "Boots" Rodriguez, Vice Mayor Alex C. Espinosa and members of the Sangguniang Bayan ng Capas, together with barangay captains and council members. Also gracing the ceremony were the newly elected officers of the Barangay Association of Senior Citizens Affairs (BASCA).

DOH: PROTEKTAHAN ANG SARILI LABAN SA MATINDING INIT

Ang El Niño ay nangyayari kapag umiinit ang malaking bahagi ng Karagatang Pasipiko. Dahil dito, mas mainit ang panahon at mas kaunti ang ulan sa loob ng ilang buwan. May ulan pa rin, pero hindi ito kasing dalas ng karaniwan.

Kung may makitang palatandaan ng heat stroke, tumawag agad sa National Emergency Hotline 911 o dalhin sa pinakamalapit na health facility sa inyong lugar.
