NO TO INDISCRIMINATE FIRING THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

As we celebrate the holidays, we remind everyone that firing guns into the air-whether in celebration or not is extremely dangerous and illegal. Bullets fired upward will come down and can seriously injure or take the life of an innocent person.

Let us celebrate with joy, responsibility, and respect for life. Protect our children, families, and neighbors by choosing safe and lawful ways to celebrate.

Together, let's make this holiday season peaceful, safe, and memorable for the right reasons.
Celebrate responsibly. Keep our community safe.

CatPPO Chief Reinforces Mandate on One-Strike Policy against Indiscriminate Firing for New Year

Following the mandate of our Acting PNP Chief, PLTGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ JR, on the One-Strike Policy against indiscriminate firing, I urged every police officer of Catanduanes to maintain the highest level of discipline and professionalism especially in the handling of fi****ms. This directive serves as a final warning to all personnel that the act of reckless or celebratory gunfire will result in immediate dismissal from the service and the filing of criminal charges.

As we welcome the New Year 2026, may we be the example of restraint so that every citizen can welcome the new year in peace and safety. I challenge every officer in this province to be a model of discipline, ensuring that our “Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman” is felt by every Catandunganon through a safe and peaceful New Year celebration.
