Look|| Strengthening Partnerships for Good Governance

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Sultan Kudarat recently held a Coordination Meeting with Mayor Princess Rihan M. Sakaluran, facilitated by the Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO).

The meeting was also attended by the Isulan Municipal Police Station, led by its Chief of Police, underscoring the importance of strong inter-agency collaboration in maintaining peace and order in the municipality.

The steadfast leadership and continued support of the Municipal Mayor to partner agencies serve as an important driving force in fostering cooperation and strengthening collective efforts for the safety and welfare of the community. Her support helps create an environment where government agencies can work together more effectively in fulfilling their respective mandates.

With the strong and united coordination of the PNP and PDEA, their collaborative efforts can further enhance the municipality’s capacity to address peace and security concerns and contribute to a safer and more peaceful Isulan.

The meeting also reaffirmed the commitment to good governance and responsive public service, with the welfare, safety, and well-being of the people remaining a foremost priority.

The Municipality of Isulan successfully underwent the SUBAYBAYAN Validation conducted by the DILG Region XII Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) Engineer and Financial Analyst.

DILG Isulan expresses its sincere appreciation to Municipal Mayor Bai Rihan Mangudadatu Sakaluran for her steadfast leadership and support. Appreciation is likewise extended to Vice Mayor Atty. Arnold Hernaez Armada who attended the validation meeting on behalf of the Municipal Mayor and reaffirmed the LGU's commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance.

Special recognition is accorded to the members of the SUBAYBAYAN Technical Working Group (TWG) who actively participated in the evaluation, particularly the Municipal Engineer and SUBAYBAYAN Technical Staff, the OIC Municipal Accountant, and the representatives from the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), for their dedication and valuable contributions to the successful conduct of the validation.

Acknowledgment is also given to the Municipal Public Information Office (MUN PIO) for providing the logistical support that ensured the smooth implementation of the activity.

Heartfelt appreciation is extended to the DILG Sultan Kudarat SUBAYBAYAN Focal Person and Engineers for their invaluable technical assistance, guidance, and continued support to the LGU throughout the SUBAYBAYAN implementation and validation process.

This successful undertaking reflects the shared commitment of all stakeholders to transparency, accountability, and excellence in local governance through effective project monitoring.

July 17–23, 2026

In observance of National Disability Rights Week, the Local Government Unit of Isulan proudly joins the nation in reaffirming its commitment to promoting the rights, dignity, and inclusion of every Person with Disability (PWD).

As part of this year's celebration, the Federation of Persons with Disabilities of the Municipality of Isulan, together with the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO), paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO).

The meeting served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen collaboration and discuss ongoing initiatives that advance the welfare and empowerment of the PWD community.

Among the highlights of the discussion was the status of the Municipality's accessibility programs and the continued implementation of measures that promote an inclusive and barrier-free environment.

The participants also recognized the unwavering support of Municipal Mayor Hon. Princess Rihan M. Sakaluran, particularly through the municipality's house-to-house wheelchair delivery program, which brings mobility assistance directly to qualified beneficiaries.

This initiative reflects the LGU's commitment to ensuring that essential services reach those who need them most.

The dialogue likewise emphasized the importance of stronger partnerships among the LGU, the PDAO, the Federation of PWDs, and other stakeholders in promoting and implementing accessibility laws, inclusive policies, and programs that uphold the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 142, Series of 2026, the suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels (public and private) throughout the Province of Sultan Kudarat remains in effect tomorrow.

As provided under Section 4 of the Executive Order, it “shall remain in force unless sooner revoked or modified." In view of the continuous heavy rainfall and prevailing adverse weather conditions, the suspension remains effective until further notice.

Schools may continue to implement appropriate online or modular learning modalities, whenever practicable and subject to the discretion of their respective school administrators.

The public is advised to continue monitoring official announcements from the Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat for any updates or modifications.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) extends its warmest congratulations to the Local Government Unit of Isulan for successfully passing the Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA).

This achievement reflects the municipality's steadfast commitment to upholding the rights, welfare, protection, and holistic development of every child through responsive and child-centered local governance.

The DILG also proudly commends the Province of Sultan Kudarat, where all twelve (12) Local Government Units successfully passed the Child-Friendly Local Governance Audit—an outstanding milestone that demonstrates the province's collective commitment to fostering child-friendly communities.
