LOCAL WEATHER SITUATION: Northeasterly Windflow affecting Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands, while Localized Thunderstorms affecting the rest of Northern Luzon and Aurora Province.

PAGTAYA: Maulap na kalangitan na may mahihinang mga pag-ulan ang mararanasan sa Batanes at Babuyan Group of Islands dulot ng Northeasterly Windflow. Bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na papawirin na may pulu-pulong mga pag-ulan o pagkidlat-pagkulog ang inaasahan sa Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Kalinga, Apayao, Aurora sanhi ng Lokal na mga pagkidlat-pagkulog.

Mahina hanggang sa Katamtaman na hangin mula sa Hilagang-silangan ang iiral sa Hilagang Luzon at sa Lalawigan ng Aurora. Ang mga baybaying-dagat ay magiging banayad hanggang sa katamtamang pag-alon.

As of 8:00 PM today, 05 October 2026, the typhoon with the international name “CHOI-WAN” (formerly LPA 09h) has exited the monitoring domain of PAGASA.

Meanwhile, no other Low Pressure Areas (LPAs) or tropical cyclones are being monitored for Tropical Cyclone Formation.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

GUSTINESS: UP TO 135 KM/H
MOVEMENT: NORTHWESTWARD SLOWLY

As of 8:00 PM today, 26 September 2026, Severe Tropical Storm "QUEENIE" with international name "SURIGAE" (formerly LPA 09g), has intensified into Typhoon category and is being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
