MABALACAT CITY โ The Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Mabalacat City Chapter successfully conducted its 2026 2nd Quarterly Meeting, Oath-Taking Ceremony of Newly Elected Federated Officers, and Recognition of Former Officers on May 13, 2026 at Side Griller Restaurant, bringing together PYAP leaders, youth representatives, advisers, and partner offices from different barangays of the city.
The activity highlighted leadership, unity, and commitment in continuously empowering the youth sector, especially out-of-school and disadvantaged youth in the community.
The program formally opened with an invocation led by Mr. Carl Artem S. Navarro, PYAP Atlu-bola President, followed by welcome remarks from Ms. Josephine B. Tanglao, RSW, MPMM, City Social Welfare and Development Officer.
Inspirational messages were delivered by Hon. Gerald Guttrie P. Aquino, City Mayor, and Ms. Lacel O. Baluyut, OIC of the City Youth Development Office, encouraging youth leaders to remain disciplined, committed, and active in creating positive change within their communities.
The program proper included the acknowledgement of participants led by Ms. Riane Perez and Mr. Ivan Dalangin, as well as the presentation of the previous minutes of the meeting and the 1st Quarter Accomplishment Report by Ms. Camille Amanda Boncapat, PYAP Federation President.
One of the highlights of the event was the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected Barangay PYAP Presidents and PYAP Mabalacat City Chapter Federation Officers, administered by Hon. Gerald Guttrie P. Aquino together with Ms. Josephine B. Tanglao, RSW, MPMM.
Former Federation Officers were likewise recognized for their dedication and contributions to the organization. A Certificate of Appreciation was also awarded to Mr. ๐๐จ๐ก๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐ซ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ง๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ง, former PYAP Federated President, for his valuable leadership and service to PYAP Mabalacat.
In the closing remarks, Ms. Elsie S. Dela Cruz, Division Chief of Operation, reminded the youth leaders to uphold accountability, commitment, and responsibility as effective leaders and instruments of positive change.
