The Mabalacat City Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Office successfully conducted the Internal Assessment for Child Development Center Recognition, led by Ms. Mary R. Liwanag, Internal Accreditor, for the following Child Development Centers (CDCs):

The three-session assessment focused on the CDCs’ compliance with the established standards and requirements for safety and space, learning programs, staff quality, management and records, and health and nutrition

The activity was further supported by the presence of Mr. Charlo G. Costales, RSW, MSSW. Concurrent ECCD Officer; Punong Barangays Hon. Benjamin S. Pangan of Atlu Bola, Hon. Jerry M. Nunag of Sapang Biabas and Hon. Glenn Joseph L. Tiongco for their full cooperation, valuable support, active participation and immediate action throughout the three sessions of the assessment. Their prompt response to the needs and concerns identified during the assessment reflects their strong commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and quality learning environment for young children.

The ECCD Office likewise commends the Child Development Workers, barangay officials, and other stakeholders for their cooperation and dedication in ensuring that the CDCs continuously meet the required standards for recognition and quality ECCD service delivery.

Together, we continue to work toward safe, child-friendly, and quality Child Development Centers for every young learner in Mabalacat City.

Alinsunod sa Proclamation No. 60, s. 1992, na nagtatakda sa huling linggo ng Setyembre bilang National Family Week, nakikiisa ang City Government of Mabalacat, sa pamamagitan ng City Early Childhood Care and Development Office, sa pagdiriwang ng 34th National Family Week. Kinikilala natin ang mahalagang papel ng pamilya sa paghubog ng masaya, ligtas, at maunlad na kinabukasan ng ating mga anak. Sa pagtutulungan ng mga magulang, Child Development Workers, barangay, at komunidad, sama-sama nating napapalakas ang pag-aaruga at pag-unlad ng bawat batang Mabalaquenian.

The City Early Childhood Care and Development Office extends its heartfelt appreciation to Hon. Jerry M. Nunag, Punong Barangay of Sapang Biabas, together with the Barangay Council, for their continued support and commitment to improving our Child Development Centers.

Through the leadership of Kap. Hon. Jerry M. Nunag and Kagawad. Librado G. Espino, the barangay has actively supported the construction, improvement, and cleaning of Child Development Centers, helping create a cleaner, safer, and more child-friendly learning environment for our young learners.

We are grateful for the hands-on support of the barangay officials and everyone who contributed their time and effort in maintaining and improving the centers. These efforts reflect the spirit of bayanihan and partnership in ensuring that every child has a safe and nurturing place to learn, play, and grow.

As part of the City Government of Mabalacat’s continuing commitment to promoting the health, safety, and overall well-being of young learners, the Dental Fluoride Application and Check-up Program continues to reach children in various Child Development Centers (CDCs) across the city.

Through the initiative of the City Health Office Dental Team, headed by Dra. Leica Marie Hipolito, City Dentist, our young learners were provided with essential oral health services, including dental check-ups and fluoride application. These services are aimed at protecting children’s teeth from cavities and other common oral health problems while promoting proper dental hygiene at an early age.

The activity was made possible through the continued cooperation of the ECCD Office, Child Development Workers, City Health Office Dental Team, parents, and the community. Their partnership plays an important role in ensuring that our young learners receive not only quality early childhood education but also the health care and support they need for their healthy growth and development.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Barangay Dapdap, headed by Hon. Glenn Joseph L. Tiongco, Punong Barangay of Dapdap, for generously supporting the improvement and beautification of the Madapdap R.A. IV Child Development Center.

We also sincerely appreciate the parents of our ECCD learners who actively participated in the repair, cleaning, and improvement of the center. Their time, effort, and cooperation truly exemplify the spirit of bayanihan and community partnership in creating a better learning environment for our children.

Through the combined efforts of the Barangay Dapdap officials, parents, Child Development Worker, and the City Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Office, the center has become a more pleasant, comfortable, safe, and conducive place for learning.
